Our 9 day California Dreaming Tour will start with 2 nights in the Napa Valley where breath taking views abound at every turn – picturesque rolling hills planted with vineyards - where wineries, small to magnificent, dot the landscape. We continue to the spectacular coastal community of Monterey for a 2 night stay. Monterey features a beautiful waterfront, a lush urban forest, and a rich array of historic and cultural attractions. One highlight, out of many, will be the famous “17 mile drive” at Pebble Beach. On the Big Sur Highway, as we travel from Monterey to Paso Robles in the South, we travel a route that hugs the California coast, with views of windswept cypress trees, fog-shrouded cliffs, the crashing surf of the Pacific Ocean, rugged canyons, towering redwoods, sea lions and other marine life. We will stay 1 night in Paso Robles in Southern California where we will be able to visit famous Hearst Castle before we travel through the Salinas Valley on our way to the City by the Bay – San Francisco!

- Today We fly with Air Canada direct to San Francisco where we meet Gael Gallagher your escort for this very special tour.
We have a short drive to the Napa Valley where we will spend our first 2 nights in the town of Napa at

Monday August 30th, 2010
- Today will be spent visiting 2 of the area’s most famous wineries – The evening will be at leisure in Napa, and our hotel is within walking distance of the town so that we can make the most of this unique culinary area.

Tuesday August 31st, 2010
- Today we drive to the Monterey area where we have a treat in store! After enjoying a welcome lunch at our hotel, Gael and the group will spend the afternoon at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. and the town of Monterey. We spend the next 3 nights in Monterey at the Clement Monterey Hotel.

Wednesday September 1st, 2010
- This morning is set aside to take the world famous 17 Mile Drive – Gael will be with us to let us in on all the local secrets! Our tour will end in the town of Carmel with free time to enjoy lunch and an afternoon at leisure.

Thursday September 2nd, 2010
- We start the day with a walking tour of Cannery Row – and then head out to Steinbeck House for lunch and a tour.In the afternoon we continue our Steinbeck themed day with a visit to the National Steinbeck Centre.

Friday September 3rd, 2010
- Gael has a leisurely and scenic day in store for the group! We leave Monterey for our drive along the Big Sur Coast en route to Paso Robles – our home for tonight is La Bellasera Hotel and Suites.

Saturday September 4th, 2010
- Our primary stop today is at Hearst Castle, a box lunch is included at the Castle before we begin our drive to San Francisco traveling through the heartland of California. Our home for the next 2 nights is The Sir Frances Drake San Francisco

Sunday September 5th, 2010
- Gael will lead a morning city sightseeing coach tour of San Francisco which will highlight Union Square, North Beach, China Town, Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Park, Cliff House, Fisherman's Wharf, and, of course, the Golden Gate Bridge. Gael and our driver leave the group this afternoon and the formal tour ends…but the afternoon and evening are yours to discover San Francisco
